Presentation on current scams & frauds targeting seniors

Join us for an important community-safety presentation on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10am, at the Manchester Senior Citizens Center, 912 City Rd, for an informative presentation on the latest scams and fraud schemes targeting our community by Sergeant Joel Gebauer of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.

Topics will include utility and transformer scams, home and email fraud, identity theft prevention, current scam trends affecting seniors in Washtenaw County, and tips to protect yourself, your family, and your finances. All seniors and community members are welcome. Scammers are constantly changing their tactics, and staying informed is one of the best ways to avoid becoming a victim.
