Deadline looming for 4 open school board seats

The Manchester Community Schools District will have four board seats open for election in the upcoming school board election and the deadline to file paperwork to run is Tuesday, July 21. As of today, no one has filed to run.
Three of these spots will be 4-year terms; these members become effective January 1, 2027. One member will have a 2-year term. This member becomes effective as soon as the Canvas is certified in 2026. All members’ terms will expire on December 31, 2030, unless they are reelected to office.
The district states, “Serving on the Board of Education is a meaningful way to advocate for our students, support our dedicated staff, and shape the future of our community’s educational program.”
