Jackson French Quarter Dixieland Band relocated to Emanuel last Thursday

The Manchester District Library’s Gazebo Concert Series continued on Thursday, July 16, with a spirited performance by the Jackson French Quarter Dixieland Band. Due to poor air quality, the concert was relocated to the lower level of Emanuel United Church of Christ, where attendees enjoyed an evening of classic New Orleans–style jazz in a cool, comfortable setting.

The band delighted the audience with an energetic selection of Dixieland favorites, including Yankee Doodle Dandy and Canal Street Blues, filling the room with the lively sounds and rich traditions of New Orleans jazz.

The Manchester District Library extends its sincere thanks to Emanuel Church for once again graciously hosting the concert on short notice. The library also thanks Worth Repeating for generously sponsoring the evening’s performance.
