Music has always had a way of bringing the Manchester community together, and that tradition continues this summer as the 6th Annual River Rhythm Music & Arts Festival returns July 31–August 2.

Set on a beautiful private property along the River Raisin near Sharon Mills, River Rhythm offers a weekend filled with live performances with professional sound and lighting. Beyond the music, attendees will find food trucks, vendors, yoga, plein air painting by local artists, hands-on activities for children, and optional on-site camping for those wanting to make it a full weekend experience.

What began as a dream has grown into a community event. The festival is organized by Eric and Stacy Sheets, along with their two sons, Drew and Blake, and Stacy’s parents, Vic and Susan Mann. Their shared vision has been to create an event where people of all ages can gather to enjoy music, connect with one another in nature, support local artists and businesses, and build lasting memories.

“We wanted to create more than just a music festival,” said the organizers. “River Rhythm is about community, bringing people together, slowing down, and celebrating the incredible talent and beauty that exists right here in our area.”

The music line-up this year includes: Garabilly & Jen, Jonny & Matthew present: The Two Piece, Jaik Willis, and the Reverend Jesse Ray on Friday. Saturday, the incredible music includes Raven Rae, Misty Lyn & The Big Beautiful, The Wildflowers, Kedron, The Fridays, Nicholas James & The Bandwagon, and Gasoline Gypsies. Sundance brings some community fun with a drum circle and beaver crossing keeping the music going between sets. On Sunday morning Bethel Church holds their church service along with a few of the bands for a memorable ending to the weekend.

Tickets are $55 for Saturday only or $85 for the weekend with $10 tickets for ages 16 and under, and are available on their website, https://www.riverretreatsllc.com/ through July 29.
