Boil Water Advisory lifted for all properties
The boil water advisory has been lifted for everyone including the properties shown in yellow on this map.

UPDATE: 6:15pm July 31, 2026: Boil Water Advisory lifted for all properties: The City of Manchester has received satisfactory water quality test results for all areas affected by this week’s precautionary boil water advisory.
Effective immediately, the precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted for all properties previously included in the advisory. The water has been tested by a certified laboratory and meets all State of Michigan drinking water standards.
Residents may now resume normal use of their tap water for drinking, preparing food, making ice, brushing teeth, and all other household purposes without the need to boil water.
On July 30, 2026, the City of Manchester received satisfactory water quality test results for the majority of the area affected by this week’s precautionary boil water advisory and lifted the precautionary boil water advisory for all properties with the exception of the properties highlighted in yellow on the above map as additional work was completed that impacted those residences. Now the boil water advisory has been lifted for those properties as well.
The City appreciates the patience, understanding, and cooperation of our residents throughout this precautionary advisory. While the advisory was issued out of an abundance of caution following the temporary loss of water pressure associated with the downtown valve repair, protecting the safety of our drinking water remains our highest priority.
