Tim David Armentrout (April 18, 1949 – August 18, 2026)

Tim David Armentrout, 77, of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Tim’s family will hold a private graveside service with military honors at Oak Grove Cemetery, Manchester.

He was born on April 18, 1949, in Tecumseh, Michigan, to Robert and Jacqueline (Knauss) Armentrout. Tim married the love of his life, Joyce Ursum, on May 4, 1974, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. As a child, Tim was in the Boy Scouts of America, where he achieved the Scouts highest honor, becoming an Eagle Scout. He was a 1967 graduate of Manchester High School and went on to attend Washtenaw Community College, where he graduated with an Associates in Architecture. Tim was in the Navy where he served in the Vietnam War, receiving a Bronze Star.  He worked at the University of Michigan Hospital for 21 years, retiring in 2012. Tim attended Life House Ministries in Tipton, Michigan. Tim and Joyce are founding members of the Washtenaw Co. VVA #310.

Tim will be missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Joyce; and his children, Joelle (Eric) Cottrell; he is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tod Armentrout
