WCRC: Forestry work in Manchester and Sharon townships

Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has announced forestry work coming up in Manchester and Sharon townships.

On Monday, August 24, 2026, the WCRC will begin performing forestry work on Hudson Rd between US-12 (Michigan Ave) and Lemm Rd in Manchester Township.

On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, WCRC will begin performing forestry work on Boetger Rd between Tracey Rd and Logan Rd in Manchester Township.

The forestry work on Hudson Rd and Boetger Rd is expected to take approximately two days.

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, the WCRC will begin performing forestry work on Mahrle Rd between Sharon Hollow Rd and Grossman Rd in Sharon Township.

On Monday, August 31, 2026, the WCRC will begin performing forestry work on Bethel Church Rd between Meyers Rd and M-52 in Sharon Township.

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the WCRC will begin performing forestry work on Smythe Rd between Pleasant Lake Rd and Wingate Rd in Sharon Township.

The forestry work on Mahrle Rd, Bethel Church Rd, and Smythe Rd is expected to take approximately three days.

In all cases, the roads will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. All dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
