Update on Scio Church Rd and Zeeb Rd roundabout

While this is not technically in the Manchester area, Scio Church Rd and Zeeb Rd is one of the main paths to get to the eastern half of the county from Manchester, so many Manchester residents pass through this intersection on a regular basis. The intersection has been closed since June 15 for the construction of a roundabout.

Last week Washtenaw County Road Commission reported that the concrete pavement is now fully in-place and curing, and that the contractor is applying pavement markings, installing signs, and restoring the roadside. DTE Energy is installing new streetlights. 

The intersection of Scio Church Rd at Zeeb Rd remains closed to all traffic. WCRC encourages motorists to follow the posted detour. All truck traffic is to follow the detour using Pleasant Lake Rd and Wagner Rd.
