WCCD looking for farmers to serve on Farmer Committee

Are you a farmer and you want to give your input on the work Washtenaw County Conservation District does?  Consider joining the WCCD’s Farmer Committee.

WCCD states, “For over 78 years WCCD has been working with county landowners and producers in conserving our natural resources and farmers have been as a part of our leadership every step of the way.  Currently, we have three farmers serving on our Board of Directors but are always looking for those willing to fill in vacant positions or simply give their input.”

There are minimal requirements to be a member of the committee you mustbe a farmer and be willing to attend a one hour meeting every three months. If you are interested, reach out to Nick Machinski at 734-302-8711 or nick@washtenawcd.org.
