Holy Faith Church located at 6299 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. in Saline is inviting Manchester residents to a free area-wide presentation on election process, “Cast with Confidence”, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Refreshments will be available at 6:15pm and the program will run from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Manchester residents Elaine and Barry Osterbur are members of Holy Faith’s Voices for Justice, the group organizing this event.

Laurie Tikkanen, the church’s office manager, explained,  “Many folks have not worked at an election and therefore may appreciate how the election process works and how its integrity is assured. Our invited speakers are Rena Basch, Director of Elections for Washtenaw County, and Julie Caroff, representing the League of Women Voters, a non-partisan organization that neither backs nor supports political candidates. The League of Women Voters focuses on voter registration, education and turnout.”
