Learn about wildlife rehabilitation at the Eddy Discovery Center

The Eddy Discovery Center has announced its public programs for October 2026, sponsored by the Waterloo Natural History Association. The Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center is located at 17030 Bush Rd, Chelsea, Mich., just 10 minutes north of Sharon Township, in the Waterloo Recreation Area.

WILD REHAB:  2:00 – 3:30 p.m., Sunday, October 4.   As Michigan’s largest wildlife rehabilitator, the Howell Nature Center treats thousands of wild animals every year — from common to endangered species — with the hope of returning these animals to their homes in the wild. But what does wildlife rehabilitation entail? Learn more about threats to wildlife, what we do, and what you can do to help.  Cost: $2/person or $5/family. Members are free.
