Gregory Alan Zielinski (March 12, 1958 – September 28, 2026)

Gregory Alan Zielinski, 68, passed away at his home on Monday, September 28, 2026. Gregory’s family and friends will gather from 4pm – 7pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026, with a Vigil Rosary beginning at 7pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Manchester Chapel. On Friday, October 2, 2026 family and friends will gather from 10am – 11am until the time of his Memorial Mass beginning 11am at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 W. Main St., Manchester Michigan. Rev. Father Bosco Padamattummal will serve as celebrant.

Greg was born on March 12, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, to Edward and Jennie (Polkowski) Zielinski. Greg married the love of his life, Debra Ann Schabel, on September 3, 1993, in Clark County, Nevada. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and Godfather. Following in his father’s footsteps, he worked as a skilled carpenter foreman for 30 plus years, alongside his brothers. The love for his family was immense, he enjoyed engaging in witty conversation and he would light up a room with his infectious laugh. Greg was loved by everyone and he will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends. Greg will be missed by his wife, Debra Zielinski; his sons, Edward Gregory Zielinski, Steven Alexander Zielinski; siblings, Donna Mallard, Lawrence Zielinski, Michael Zielinski, Gina Jennings.
