June Mary Faubion (June 17, 1946 – September 29, 2026)

June Mary Faubion, 80, of Manchester, passed away peacefully, at home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. June’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, October 7^th at 10:00 am, with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00am, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church-Manchester. June’s ashes will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.

She was born on June 17, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Kenneth and Blanch Blakney. June married the love of her life, Walter, on August 9, 1969, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She served in the United States Army Nurse Corps (ANC) for 4 years. June went on to work at the VA Hospital for 20 years. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, cooking and being an avid reader. June was a lover of English detective movies and usually had everything figured out by the end of the show. Walter and June raised golden retrievers for decades and found great joy in watching the dogs go on to do great things. She found great joy in serving at St. Mary’s for many years.

June will be missed by her loving husband of 57 years, Walter; their son, Scott (Tracey) Faubion; siblings, John (Judy) and Richard (Cathy); grandchildren, Benjamin and Danielle. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol.
