NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT
THE STATE General ELECTION
WILL BE HELD ON:
TUESDAY, November 3, 2026
Polls are open:
7:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M.
The State General Election is being held for the purpose of electing the following office candidates:
AN ELECTION WILL BE HELD FOR THE PURPOSE OF VOTING ON: (1) Governor and Lieutenant Governor (2) Secretary of State (3) Attorney General (4) United States Senator (5) Representative in Congress 6th District (6) State Senator 14th District (7) Representative in State Legislature 46th or 47th District (8) Member of the State Board of Education (9) Regent of the University of Michigan (10) Trustee of Michigan State University (11) Governor of Wayne State University (12) Justice of Supreme Court (13) Judge of Court of Appeals 3rd District Incumbent Position (14) Judge of Circuit Court 22nd Circuit Incumbent Position (15) Judge of Probate Court Non-Incumbent Position (16) Judge of District Court 14A District Incumbent Position (17) Board of Trustees Member Washtenaw Community College (18) School Board members in the following Districts; Cheslea, Grass Lake, Manchester or Napoleon.

Proposal 2026-01
A proposal to convene a constitutional convention for the purpose of drafting a general revision of the state constitution Shall a convention of elected delegates be convened in 2027 to draft a general revision of the State Constitution for presentation to the state’s voters for their approval or rejection?
Proposal 2026-02
A proposed initiated law to prohibit campaign contributions from certain regulated utilities and government contractors and apply campaign finance laws and regulations to additional types of political communications The proposal would: · Prohibit regulated electric and gas utilities, contractors with over $250,000 annually in government contracts, and people and organizations with substantial connections to these utilities/contractors from making direct or indirect campaign contributions to those who run for or hold offices that impact them. · Expand laws regulating spending on political communications, including those requiring disclosing donor information, to apply to communications clearly identifying candidates or ballot questions, even if they do not expressly advocate voting for/against them. · Expressly apply the law requiring disclosure of who paid for political communications to internet political communications.
