Riverside and Luther C. Klager Elementary students had the perfect weather to enjoy the PTO sponsored Fun Run on Friday, October 9.  The sun was shining, the energy was high, the cheers were loud, and the volunteers were plentiful as children ran around the track and raised money for the schools.  The event ended with the traditional popsicle treat, always a favorite of the children!

As of Friday afternoon, the PTO had raised $15,640, just shy of their goal of $17,500.  Donations are being accepted through Monday.  All funds raised from the Fun Run will go directly back into the schools to support grade level field trips, building assemblies, teacher wish list money, and more.  Many thanks to the PTO, families, and friends, for helping make this another successful event for the children of Manchester Community Schools!
