Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Manchester Township Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing, in accordance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110 of 2006, as amended, on Thursday, November 4th, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Manchester Township Hall, located at 275 S. Macomb Street, Manchester, MI 48158. 

PURPOSE: The Manchester Township Planning Commission is holding a public hearing to consider two amendments to the Manchester Township Zoning Ordinance, including:

1. Article 4, Use District Regulations, Section 4.04(E). Amend the threshold for accessory structures requiring a Zoning Compliance Permit from one hundred fifty (150) square feet to two hundred (200) square feet and increase the minimum setback from property boundaries from three (3) feet to five (5) feet.
2. Article 4, Use District Regulations, Section 4.06. Amendment to add a table outlining the Schedule of Bulk Regulations for all Zoning Districts.

PUBLIC INSPECTION: A copy of the proposed site plan and associated information is available for public inspection at the Manchester Township offices during normal business hours.
