SYNOPSIS OF MEETING MINUTES

October 13, 2026, Regular Board Meeting

Held in person at the Freedom Town Hall

Meeting called to order at 8:01pm

Members present: Lindemann, Bristle, Layher, Huehl absent-Schaible   12 public in attendance.

The board heard public comments, communications received, and treasurer, clerk, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer and zoning administrator’s reports.

Items approved:

1. Minutes for September 8, 2026
2. September Treasurer’s report
3. To accept the Esch Road Maintenance Agreement between Freedom Township and Michigan Paving and Materials Company D/B/A Stoneco of Michigan.
4. To provide a letter of support to go along with the UofM Impact Grant Program application.
5. Warrants
