Giant Piece of Buttery Homemade Toast with a side of Big Family Breakfast
A classic Mickey Mouse pancake!
I come from a big family of food lovers. One meal that was always a staple growing up was breakfast. Not a small grab-and-go breakfast, but a sit down and eat breakfast. And now my children have grown accustomed to it too. So when the weekend comes and mom doesn’t feel like cooking, we go to Kellie’s.
Most people know Kellie; actually, probably at least half of the village is related to her. I always feel welcomed and at home right when I walk in. Kellie is fast on her feet and we know drinks and food will be to us quick.
Kellie’s has all the staple breakfast foods... eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon and toast.

My order of food comes and the salty, greasy goodness of the bacon makes my mouth water. The runny eggs cooked to perfection are waiting to be destroyed by my buttery toast. Oh and did I mention that the toast is made from their homemade bread. I never think I can finish the whole meal with the giant pieces of toast but somehow I do.
The Mickey Mouse Pancakes that my children get are huge and the face is made out of whipped cream. The first thing the kids eat is the whipped cream, then the sausage then at least one ear. They can never make it through the whole mouse.
If you are looking for something a little different for your morning meal, look at the specials board and you may get lucky with some homemade quiche or pancakes with pecans.
