Are you having trouble waiting for spring flowers? Stop by the Art Kettle, Manchester’s art space located at 121 West Main Street, and take the opportunity to soak in the flora. Their newest show, Fantastic Botanicals, opened on Saturday and held the artist reception on Sunday. The exhibit will be open on Saturdays and Sundays throughout March, from 1 to 4 pm. Here are photos of just a few of the pieces on display:

Artist Kim Blumenstein stands next to two of her photos.

Artist Carol Morris with her acrylic painting involving a photo transfer of herself as a young child. In the photo, two trees stuck up behind her like bunny ears.

Artist Marie Singer (right) stands in front of her acrylic work Trees #1, while Art Kettle executive director Laura Earle (left) looks on.

Artist Nora Myers describes the colored pencil works in honor of her grandparents.

Art Kettle director Laura Earle took an architectural approach to these flowers.

Artist Abby Korotney talks about her love of bright colors.

Artist Cheryl Widener talking about the still life of sunflowers in a jar with a pear.

The Felecettio Wind Trio from Bowling Green State University performed during the Artist Reception on Sunday afternoon. Featured were Emilio Valle, Clarinet; Manchester native Cozette Cecconie, Bassoon; and Felicity Jinnings, Oboe.
