Although there will be no caramel apples or pumpkin bowling this year at the Gazebo on Halloween evening, there will be free pumpkin bowling and caramel apple kit handout from 2-4 pm on Oct. 31 in the parking lot of Acorn Farmers Market and Café parking lot, 327 West Main. The caramel apple treat kits will be distributed by the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Manchester Lions will be running pumpkin bowling and providing the grand prize of a huge stuffed animal.  Instead of on a trailer, their plywood bowling alley will be on the ground, providing plenty of room for social distancing. All volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves. Pumpkins, once used, will be placed in a tub of bleach water before being recycled for use. Participants will be staged six feet apart until their turn to play. The drawing for the grand prize will be at 4 pm.
