We can do good things.

Once upon a time, a small village had a little grocery store. The store grew tired and closed its doors. The village was surrounded by beautiful farms producing abundant crops, but the people in the village had no regular place to purchase fresh produce and good things to eat.

Then a group of very creative, hard-working people came together and decided to fix this problem. A small year-round farmers market was created and that helped. But the village needed more.

That seed of an idea, an acorn if you will, grew and expanded. The Acorn attracted supporters and other businesses to join together to create a unique market in a small town. In the same spot where a tired grocery store sat empty for far too long. Shiny new fixtures, fresh fruits, vegetables, breads, meats, beer, coffee and even gelato wrapped up in a beautiful new store with original murals and WiFi!!

Coming together, supporting each other, making dreams come true. That’s not a fairy tale. That’s Manchester.
