The Manchester Mirror is partnering with the Manchester Chamber of Commerce to periodically highlight a different Chamber of Commerce member! This week's spotlight is on Red Barn Realty, LLC — Merrill Guerra, Broker/Owner

Red Barn Realty LLC — Merrill Guerra, Broker/Owner

Fun Facts: The name for Red Barn Realty comes from the red barn that we had when we lived on five acres in Ypsilanti Township. While we lived there we had two cows, a Highland (the big brown, shaggy ones) and a Dexter, two llamas, and tons of chickens, as well as extensive gardens.
A little about myself and my career: I became a Realtor® in 2013. I have been an entrepreneur for most of my career and had a start-up company, RealKidz, Inc., that I founded in 2007 that garnered national media attention. When that business ended, I wanted to continue to work as an entrepreneur but in a capacity with less capital investment required and where I could set my own schedule, work with lots of different people, and be able to indulge my creative side. Real estate fit those requirements perfectly.
About Red Barn Realty: I founded Red Barn Realty in 2017. I just moved to Manchester in October of 2021 to be in a
smaller town and to be close to our dear friends Mark and Jaimie Schmidt. My offices are still in Ann Arbor for the time being as I still have a lease to finish out there. I am very much looking forward to opening an office in the Village as soon as is practical.
What would you like people to know about you? I think the thing I most want people to know is that real estate to me is about providing a service to help people achieve their real estate dreams and goals. I love getting to know people in the process and helping them make the move they want/need to make with as few hiccups as possible and the knowledge they are receiving exceptional service.
Why join the Chamber of Commerce? I chose to join the Chamber as it has always been important to me to be an active, invested, and committed part of any community of which I am a part. I bring to the organization many years of leadership and fundraising experience, both professional and volunteer, and am excited to put that experience to work for the common good and goals of the Chamber and the greater Manchester community.
