According to owner Jason Cooper, “We’ve had more than our share of delays,” and they are no longer giving out anticipated opening dates for the new taqueria and microbrewery planned for 120 E Main St this summer, “since I’ve missed every one to this point!

“It took 13 months for us to get our licensing from the state liquor commission (we received it in late January),” he said. “Construction is ongoing and we have had some surprises with a 130-year-old building, too.”

With that being said, “We do plan to open this summer and will send out a social media blast about 4–6 weeks prior to finishing our employee hiring.”

We at the Mirror wish him luck as he works to complete his new endeavor.
