If you look at an online map of Manchester, you may notice a change on Macomb Street. Victory Baptist Church, a 70-year fixture in the City of Manchester, is now labeled as “Victory Manchester.” The church released a statement last week announcing that Victory Baptist Church, a member of the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches and located at 419 S Macomb St, has been adopted by Mosaic Church.

Pastor Ryan Quayle of Mosaic Church, who now leads the congregation, explained that he spent much of 2024 working with Pastor Gary Page, who had been leading Victory Baptist for many years, on the transition. On March 30, 2025, the congregation of Victory Baptist voted to extend the call of pastor to Quayle and the formal merger of the Victory Baptist congregation with Mosaic Church. The new church is going by Victory Manchester.

“Our mission is simple: We want to be a people who love Jesus, live by faith, are known by love, and serve as a voice of hope to Manchester,” says Pastor Quayle. “Victory Baptist has served Manchester and its surrounding communities since 1956, and we are honored to preserve and build on that foundation, fostering a culture where every neighbor and newcomer feels like family.”

Victory Manchester holds Sunday worship at 11am on Sundays with a 10am all-ages Bible study. They have the goals of providing a true “come as you are” environment, engaging in the Manchester community, and renewing a focus on kids and youth.

Pastor Quayle has been in ministry support, administration, and pastoral roles for two decades, and describes his path to pastoral work as unconventional, having founded a successful print and sign company in St. Louis, and selling it before beginning. Pastor Quayle and his wife, Jaime, have a son, two daughters, a grandson, and a granddaughter.

Mosaic Church, a non-denominational church, was founded in 2009 and holds services in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor. They have high hopes for their Manchester “outpost,” writing in their statement, “By uniting the 70-year legacy of Victory Baptist with Mosaic’s vision for the future, the church aims to prove that God is still in the business of putting broken pieces together to form a beautiful new picture—a mosaic.”
