Sharon Church will host “Messy Church – Put On Love” on Wednesday, October 14th, from 5:30 to 7pm at 19980 W. Pleasant Lake Road, Manchester.

Messy Church is a recurring, all-ages gathering that brings the community together for a shared meal, hands-on creative activities, music, and a brief, family-friendly worship time. The October gathering will discover how God encourages us and enables us to put on love as a daily choice. We can choose how we treat others, even when we don’t agree with them. It looks at Colossians 3:12-14. Activities will include a a shoe relay, heart sewing, paper doll fashion design, string art, dressing cookies, and more! The dinner menu will include hot dogs.

Unlike a traditional church service, Messy Church emphasizes participation, creativity, and fellowship across generations. The goal is to provide a welcoming space where families and individuals of all ages can explore faith together in an informal setting. Come join people from 90+ years on down to first time explorers feasting and smiling in discovery and worship.

The event is free and open to the community. Those planning to attend can register at: https://sharongmchurch.breezechms.com/form/MessyChurch-Oct14th2026
