On Saturday, November 7, from 10am to 12:30pm, Legacy Land Conservancy will be leading a workday at Iron Creek Preserve located at 11703 Noggles Rd. Come help remove invasive species like buckthorn and autumn-olive.
Dress for the weather and in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and closed-toe shoes, regardless of the temperature. It will help protect you from poison ivy, ticks, and getting scratched up while working outside. Bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen. Legacy will provide tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have a pair you like.
Please RSVP by filling out the Google form, which you can reach by visiting https://legacylandconservancy.org/events/ and scrolling down and clicking on “Volunteer Workday 11/7/2026” or “Volunteer Workday 12/5/2026” then clicking “Register”.
Can’t make this one but want to help? On Saturday, December 5, Legacy Land Conservancy will be back from 10am to noon to continue the job.
