Luther C. Klager Elementary School and Riverside Intermediate School students and families participated in Manchester’s annual Walk-to-School Day on Wednesday, October 14. They met at 7am in Chi-Bro Park for lots of fun activities and giveaways before heading off to the two schools. Students were invited to wear costumes. Organizer Ann Hinkley Arwin reports that the rain held off and the event was a fun success. A wintertime walk-to-school event is planned for early February and there will be a bike-to-school event in May.
