Manchester pop-up COVID-19 testing site THIS SUNDAY

The Washtenaw County Health Department announced this morning that they will be hosting a pop-up COVID-19 testing at Riverside Intermediate School in Manchester located at 710 East Main, Sunday, July 26, 12:00 - 6:00pm. This site will offer free tests. Anyone with or without symptoms can get tested. Symptoms include: fever higher than 100 degrees, cough, shortness of breath, severe tiredness/fatigue, sore throat, muscle aches, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell, runny nose/congestion, or decreased appetite.

No appointments or prescription needed. Bring an ID card for faster processing. No one will be turned away for lack of insurance. You can drive-up or walk-up. Organizers ask that you please do not line up before the start time. The tests will be nasal PCR/diagnostic. Results will be available as soon as Monday but by Wednesday at the latest. People will have the option of checking their results through a secure online portal.

This testing site is supported by Washtenaw County Health Department, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Manchester Community Schools and the Michigan National Guard.

The Michigan National Guard will be supplying a three-member team including a certified medic to conduct the testing and two members to assist with paperwork, logistics, and non-medical tasks. All team members from the Michigan National Guard have tested negative for COVID-19 and have been following strict medical protocols to ensure health and safety and to protect Michigan communities.
